Once you've identified the type of filter you have, it's time to purchase a replacement. Be sure to get the correct filter as per the manufacturer’s manual. Or, measure the old filter so you know what size to buy.

  1. First, disconnect the power to your cooker hood.
  2. Then, locate your cooker extractor filter. It’s usually found on the underside of your range hood.

  4. Carefully remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
  5. To replace the old filter, insert the new one into the cooker hood
  6. Tighten the screws to secure the new filter in place.
  7. You've now successfully replaced your cooker extractor filter. Reconnect the power to your cooker hood and test it out!
